Monnei is a free AI-powered expense tracker and budget app that helps you log spending in seconds, set monthly budgets per category, track recurring subscriptions, and get personalized financial insights - all without sharing your bank credentials.

How does Monnei’s AI categorize my expenses?

When you log an expense, Monnei’s AI reads the note you type (e.g. “Starbucks latte”) and assigns it to the right category automatically - Food, Transport, Bills, Entertainment, and so on. Override any suggestion in one tap.

Can I track expenses in multiple currencies?

Yes. Monnei supports 150+ currencies with live exchange rates on Premium, and 10 currencies on the free tier. Pick a base currency for your dashboard and log transactions in any other - Monnei converts them automatically.

Is my financial data secure with Monnei?

Yes. Monnei never connects to your bank, so your credentials never leave your device. Data is stored in a secured database with access controls; the app supports biometric lock and an optional PIN. AI requests strip personally identifiable information.
